This weekend, we decided to go on a hike in nearby Griffith Park. In the midday heat, we trekked 3 miles up into the Hollywood hills, and made our way to the back area of the Hollywood sign. The view of the huge sign set against the sprawling city reminded me of how much I've grown to love Los Angeles. After the hike, we rewarded ourselves with another Los Angeles treasure, Scoops ice cream. Is there a better way to end Family Day than with creamy, cold Guinness Tiramisu ice cream? I sincerely doubt it.
