Katelin from Gorgeous Footsteps in the Sand tagged me for a meme. Kisses to Katelin! According to the rules, I must (1) List 7 random facts about myself, (2) tag 7 people, and (3) leave a comment on their blog letting them know. Here you are...
1. My favorite kitchen appliance is the Crock-Pot.
2. I have an unfinished screenplay called Waiting For the Caged Canary in Room #406 that I began writing when I was seventeen.
3. In high school I went through a hair-dying phase. I bleached large chunks of my hair, and dyed the chunks a new color (blue, red, purple, fuchsia) every month or so.
4. My wedding dress cost $200 at Macy's.
5. I have a fear of clowns and public speaking (and LA drivers, but that goes without saying).
6. One summer I had a brief stint selling knives.
7. I used to have a ginormous crush on Taye Diggs. Now that I'm married, I have a medium-ish crush on Taye Diggs.
Wheee, that was fun! And now I tag the following people (feel free to do it or not!):
Natalie at Tales from a Canadian Trapped in Hollywood
Miss Eliza at Confessions of a Novice
Alexis at Paper Wings
Alexandra at truth.beauty.freedom.love
MissMrs at Miss Mrs
Libby at In This Skin
Zandria at Keep Up With Me

I know I need heels. I know it. Also boots- man, I have never ever seen boots that I like other than uggs but those are sort of out of style now, right? SIGH.
ReplyDeleteAlso, $200 wedding dress? SWEET. AND I HATE CLOWNS. HATE HATE HATE
Clowns creep me out too. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteI accept! Look for it on my site tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteoooh nice list! i will get to this pronto!
ReplyDeleteOkay, wow to the screenplay! That is v. cool. And you rock for the $200 wedding dress! Dresses needn't be uber expensive to be beautiful. =)
ReplyDeleteI am inclined to ask about the brief stint selling knives...
ReplyDeleteAh! A tag! I'll make it happen soon. :)
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that I love Taye Diggs' wife more than him? Idina Menzel is beyond amazing!
My wedding dress was Tres Cheap as well. I hate clowns and who doesn't love Mr. Diggs? 'Nough said.
ReplyDeletep.s. That is really cool that you and your hubby are youth pastors! My bf and her husband are yp at a church Oregon. He actually married my husband and I.
That is the most awesome wedding dress price - I think I'm going to aim for that if I get married. ;)
ReplyDeletei am SO with you on #5.
ReplyDeleteand $200? way to go! what a deal :)
You beat me with the dress, mine was $500 and I thought that was on the inexpensive side.
ReplyDeleteThought I'd let you know I have a contest/giveaway going on over at my site. Anyone can enter.
I'm a little scared of clowns. This started after I watched It. "We all float down here." Ugh. But I'm deathly scared of mimes. Seriously, I just start screaming.
ReplyDeleteIf Private Practice were for real, I'd hang out there just to get glimpses of Dr. Sam Bennett, though I could never have such a hottie as MY doctor...too weird!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding dress was $500 but my bridesmaids dresses were $19.99 at Ross!
I need a crock pot! For some reason, people have mentioned them like 40 times around me in the past week, and I've come to the conclusion that my life, as I know it, is tragically incomplete. How could I have been so oblivious?!
ReplyDeleteAnd also, I despise clowns and public speaking. But I'm trying to improve on the second one...clowns, they can just disappear forever and I'd be okay.
I'm intrigued by the title of your story; will you ever finish it? And congrats on the wedding dress price!
ReplyDeleteI've tagged you back! And I'll do this meme this week, for sure =)

My wedding dress was under $200 at Macy's!
ReplyDeleteTaye Diggs is such a hottie mchotterson, and he can sing!? Ah! Love him.
ReplyDeleteAnd 200$ dress!? Amazing.
Fear of clowns, sort of. The movie IT pretty much scarred me for life, gah. Don't ever see it!
$200 wedding dress?! That's insane! I gotta find myself one of those.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA - I love the bit about your unfinished screenplay! I have several of those myself....but none with so cool a title.
